If you think that you can’t build your own electric solar panel, then maybe you’re right – just forget about it!

Alright when it comes to building the panels, beginners usually ask 3 questions which I’ve listed below along with the answers.
Question 1: Is it expensive to build your own electric solar panel?
The answer is No.
Commercial panels are expensive but if opt for the DIY route; it’s a lot cheaper!
Now, in order to construct a fully functional electric solar panel, we must obtain the proper training materials especially since we’re all beginners.
By learning from the right resources, I was able to make my first panel for about 206 dollars.
I used plywood, Plexiglass, diodes, solder, solar cells, copper wires, UV primer, flux paste and some screws to put together the panel.
Question 2: Is it difficult to build your own electric solar panel?
The answer is yes…EXTREMELY difficult!
In fact, you shouldn’t even think about it!
Alright! Alright! I’m just kidding! It’s not difficult.
It can be rather confusing at first but once you completed your first electric panel, I’m sure you can put together the next one with much less hassle.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, ensure you get the proper training materials first. A lot of beginners would simply print out how-to manuals from generic home improvement websites.
In my experience, that’s a really bad move…
We beginners should stick with step-by-step videos. You’ll learn the proper assembling and wiring process a lot quicker by watching videos.
Question 3: How do you measure voltage output from the solar cells?
The sun and the multiimeter are your friends!
Measure the cells under full sun while placing the leads of the multimeter on the conductors of the solar cells. Full instructional videos will clearly show you how it is done.
Once testing is completed, just follow the instructions so you can build your own electric solar panel as soon as possible!
